2021 Spring League Registration

We recently added two more confirmed leagues in Chesapeake this spring in addition to the leagues already planned in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Newport News. Registration is open for all of our leagues now. Please note that we have a tiered pricing system based on registration date and that some leagues have limited capacity. If you want to play with us this spring, better to sign up sooner rather than later. We do still promise to offer the best kickball experience possible while maintaining safety for everyone. And we are already working with each city on their field scheduling and/or reopening plans for summer.

Also, the first 20 teams that sign up and register four paid players this spring will receive a complimentary 64oz KLOHR branded growler and "growzie"!

To repeat what we've posted before, if you made a payment last year for one of our leagues that was cancelled, we are automatically crediting all such payments toward a future season. These credits are valid through at least Spring 2022 (no action necessary). Players and captains who are unable to play with our league in the future and are unable to transfer their credit to a teammate may request a refund at any time (see our FAQ page for details).

Upcoming Leagues - 2021 Spring Season

With the majority of our usual fields remaining closed and youth sports starting up again and laying claim to what fields remain, it has been a challenge to plan our spring season along our usual timelines. Still, we do have some confirmed leagues happening this spring in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Newport News and if one or more of those appeal to you, we hope that you will register for them. We promise to offer the best kickball experience possible while still maintaining safety for everyone.

Traditionally, our leagues in Norfolk were some of our largest. For teams that played previously with us on Friday nights, please consider joining the Hilltop or Western Branch leagues. For those who played on Thursdays in Norfolk or Wednesdays in Portsmouth, we are working with the city of Chesapeake to reserve a field in South Norfolk. We are expecting more information from them in about one week. Rest assured we are primed and ready to roll once we get the "green light".

We do offer the ability for teams to register in one location/division and transfer to another while still maintaining their per-player fee, so long as the minimum deposit in the original location/division is paid by the stated deadline. So if you see the pricing deadlines on our website and are worried that you will miss out on a discount if you wait to see what happens with the Chesapeake fields, please rest assured that you can register now for one of the open leagues and transfer later at no financial penalty.

2021 Spring Season Update

January 29, 2021

We've made it to a new year and while much has improved from 10 months ago, much also remains the same. Thank you all for your continued patience and flexibility as our league navigatest the new normal. We are doing our best to adapt and appreciate all of your efforts to adapt as well.

Looking ahead to this spring, we have confirmed plans for a Thursday night social league in Newport News and a Friday night social league in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach. (All Norfolk and Portsmouth city fields remain closed.) We are working with the city of Chesapeake, the city of Virginia Beach, and some other facilities to operate kickball leagues on the southside in other locations and on other weeknights. We expect many more details to be confirmed within the next two weeks. Corporate leagues have been postponed until this fall.

Please pay close attention to fees and deadlines as they will vary by specific location/division.

Our league will continue to play under modified rules this year until we deem it safe to revert back to our normal rules. We ask that all of you please review the "Coronavirus Modifications" section as well as the yellow highlighted rule changes on our Rules page. Further additions and adjustments may be made during the year if the need arises.
